IO1 – Didactic guidelines

IO1 focuses on the development, testing and evaluation of a qualification concept for vocational training personnel ("Expert Digitalization in Training") in order to
the required professional, personal and digital competencies for the use of immersive technologies (AR, VR, 360 ° videos), IoT and 3D printing in the practical
training and to describe them. The result is didactic guidelines for (in-company) trainers and teachers at vocational schools that, among other things, prevent the
in-company training personnel becoming digitally "hooked".

This is based on extensive expert / industry surveys (questionnaires) at the respective learning locations. This is done in relation to DigiCompEdu (2019), the framework for the
digital literacy of educators, and thus more broadly in relation to DIGICOMP 2.1. The focus is therefore on the following areas: professional
engagement, digital resources, teaching and learning, assessment, learner empowerment, and facilitating learner digital literacy.

IO2 – Teaching and learning scenarios

The result of IO2 are developed, tested and evaluated teaching and learning materials, based on IO1, for use in practical training, enriched by AR, VR,
360 ° video, IoT and 3D printing enriched (see below). This forms the basis for the qualification portfolio of the vocational training personnel and thus at the same time also the
offer portfolios of the respective teaching and learning labs of the partners. The focus is on providing measurable didactic or pedagogical added value, e.g.
Learning motivation and effectiveness in achieving learning outcomes. A key element here is the enrichment of existing and the creation of new, so-called.
"communication spaces" through the use of DIOS technologies. This helps in testing different media for synchronous use (e.g. AR and 360 ° video) as well as for
asynchronous use (educational video) when the teaching staff is on site (direct communication) or is not (indirect communication).

IO3 – Teaching and learning labs

The result of IO3 is the establishment and operation of five industry-specific teaching and learning laboratories for didactic innovations. The basis for this is the qualification concept
(IO1) and the teaching and learning scenarios (IO2). This makes it possible to qualify persons (DIOS moderators) for the operation of the teaching and learning labs and to lay the foundation for
the Media Labs (content creation with selected hardware) and Learning labs (industry and region-specific qualification offerings) integrated in each DIOS Lab.

The planned deliverables include materials for the operation of the labs (e.g., operational concept) and a workbook with relevant work materials/sheets for the use of
AR, VR, 360° videos, IoT and 3D printing in practical training.
